The smaller sized 4/8 Filarmonica is used by many straight shavers to shave around awkward and difficult to manage shaving areas or fine tune the goatee or mustache. Some find a 4/8 sized razor easier to manoeuver with and many claim to get an even closer shave, The razor is also used by many hair dressers. It does a marvelous job at removing the little neck hairs.

Filarmonica - The company started manufacturing staright razors in 1915 in the city of Mataró, province of Barcelona. They are considered as one of the best manufacturers of cutlery, knifes and razors. About 20 years ago the company shut down all operations and closed their doors.
