This is a very nice looking vintage razor.
Comes with the original satin feeling celluloid scales in very nice condition.
The blade is very shiny, clean with no rust, cracks, chips or disturbing stains.
Blade holds little hone wear with a very sharp edge.
Very easy to hone and maintain.
Blade has been cleaned and polished.
The blade measures 4/8 - spik point muted to prevent cuts.
On the front shank it says: Giesen & Forsthofff #161 - Solingen Germany
The bottom part of the shank has ribbed jimps.
Blade opens and closes nicely.

Started in 1920, by Mr. Paul Giesen and Mr. Eugen Forsthoff, the firm manufactured both scissors and general cutlery.
Though Mr. Eugen Forsthoff left the company in 1945, the name was retained and is now run by the third generation of the Giesen family. Qualtiy and Service has become the hallmark of both the TIMOR and Giesen & Forsthoff trade names.
