JOHN HEIFFOR -MADE FOR THE ARMY - 6/8 - WEDGE - SHEFFIELD
This is an extremely gorgeous looking very old collectable vintage straight razor in excellent high mirror polished condition. Razor looks incredible, especially knowing that this razor is around 150 years old. You can practically count your eyelashes :-)
The razor has been fitted and customized with Carbon Fiber/G10/Red scales which is a combination of Carbon Fiber layered with red G10. Tapered with G10 olive drab
The blade is extremely clean and shiny with no rust, cracks, pitting, chips or disturbing stains.
Blade has been cleaned and polished.
Spine shows no significant hone wear at all.
The blade's width is 6/8 - Half round point
Grind: Wedge (near full wedge)
Shoulder: 1 stabilizer

On the front shank it says: John Heiffor - 3 Paradise Sq. - Sheffield
On the back it says: For the Army #2
It has a few markings on the blade that are hard to decipher but still present.
Blade centers nicely between the scales.
John Heiffor was a razor maker & manufacturer (cutlery of all kinds) active in the 1800's. (1861 >).
