This is a very old vintage straight razor from Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Cutlers to their majesties, Norfolk N°6, Sheffield from the mid 1800's in superb condition.
The blade has professionally been restored and re-scaled.
It's a notch under 6/8 (between 11/16 and 6/8), 3/8 hollow grind with a barber's and thumb notch.
The scales are Sapphire Blue acrylic tapered with a genuine ivory wedge. This is a higher grade acrylic with superb optical clarity, scratch resistant, excellent resisting to natural aging and heat resistance.
The blade is very clean with no rust, cracks, chips or disturbing stains.
On the front shank it says: Joseph Rodgers & Sons - Cutlers to their majesties - N°6 Norfolk - Sheffield.

Blade centers nicely and sits snug between the scales.
