|W. GREAVES & SONS - SHEAF WORKS - SHEFFIELD - 13/16 - RE-GRIND
This is a very old, between 162 - 186 years old, W. Greaves & Sons, Sheaf Works vintage razor in excellent condition from the 1800's.
Razor was completely restored and re-ground keeping the original grind.
The only real blemish left is up and around the tang's engraving. There was no other choice if not the engraving had to go. The picture makes it actually look worse than it is.
The custom scales are G10 Desert Tan tapered with Bloody Jasper recon stone.
Grind: Near Wedge - Barber's Notch
Total weight: 2.4 oz
Total cutting edge: 2.75 inches
Hardware: Silver nickel pins. Stainless steel and brass washers
On the front shank it says: Manufactured by W. Greaves & Sons - Sheaf Works
Extremely beautiful condition and example of at least a 162+ years old W. Greaves & Sons razor.
