This is a sweet looking vintage collectors razor.
The custom made scales are made of Bubinga wood, fully treated against water and humidity.
The blade is very shiny, clean with no rust, cracks or chips.
Blade holds an incredible sharp edge with little hone wear.
Gorgeous looking smiling spine and edge.
Pivot side comes with an adjustable screw.
Blade has been cleaned and polished.
The blade measures 6/8 - muted spike point.
On the front shank it says: Manufactured By Wade & Butcher Sheffield

Successor to Robert Wade; succeeded by Butcher, Brown & Butcher Sheffield - 1818-1890.
This razor dates from before 1890 since from 1890 the word 'England' had to be added to the inscription on the tang. I believe this one to be from around 1840-1850.
