WADE & BUTCHER - SHEFFIELD - 11/16 - 1/4 HOLLOW - COCOBOLO
This is a an extremely gorgeous looking vintage collectors razor.
The custom made scales are made of Cocobolo w/tapered Faux Tortoise wedge.
The Cocobolo is not bleached in any way. It's a natural occuring color difference.
The blade is very shiny, clean with no rust, cracks or chips.
Has a few remaining residual shallow pits and left on the blade.
Blade holds minor hone wear and sits nicely in the scales.
Blade has been cleaned and polished.
The blade measures 11/16 - Spike point which has been muted.
Has a faint but present smiling edge

On the front shank it says: Manufactured By Wade & Butcher Sheffield
Extremely nice and beautiful example of a Wade & Butcher.
Successor to Robert Wade; succeeded by Butcher, Brown & Butcher Sheffield - 1818-1890.
