WADE & BUTCHER - SHEFFIELD - 6/8 - 3/4 HOLLOW - G10 TAN
This is a very old vintage straight razor manufactured by Wade & Butcher in excellent condition considering this razor to be at least 120 years old.
Some very minor barely noticeable remaining residual surface stains remain which were not worth removing as it would have altered the original finish and grind. It's mostly at the back of the tang area.
The custom made scales are made of G10 Tan tapered with a red G10 wedge.
The blade has a nice beautiful mirror shine, clean with no rust, cracks, pitting or chips.
Blade has been cleaned and polished.
The blade measures 6/8.
3/4 hollow, subtle smiling spine and edge - Barber's notch.
Blade sits snug between the scales and has slight tendency to close off center.
